A new opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join our Global Logistics, Resource & Industrials team based at East Rockingham, Perth, where you will support the Senior Commercial Manager, Fuels & Gases by providing clear, accurate and detailed analytical reviews of operations for Toll Fuels.
As Commercial Manager you will ensure the smooth integration of Toll R&I systems to enable accurate financial reports to be developed on a monthly basis for the group.
Key responsibilities include:
- Business partnering with the Regional/Project Managers; Site Managers and Admin teams to assist and drive the best financial outcomes
- Develop sound and accurate cost/financial models generating IRR Evaluations, What if, scenario and sensitivity analysis etc.
- Provision of pricing for customers in the tendering for new work and work with existing customers
- Collaborating with the Business Development team in the preparation of major tenders and customer analysis, including contract exceptions and risk assessments
- Working closely with the Divisional Finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis of business trends and performance
- Establishing sound invoicing processes and monitoring to ensure complete, accurate invoicing that result in complete revenue capture and improved working capital performance
To be successful in this role you will need:
- 5 years' + experience in a commercial management/analysis and/or finance/accounting background with exposure to bids and tenders
- Intermediate/advanced MS Excel and data modelling experience
- Sound stakeholder engagement skills with the ability influence and build trusted relationships
- Strong attention to details and problem solving skills
- Oil and Gas / Logistics Industry experience highly advantageous
- Degree qualified in commerce, business or related field
- CA/CPA or progressing towards completion
