The Leschenault Leisure Centre is looking for enthusiastic, suitably experienced people to coordinate, motivate and engage children as a Holiday Program Officer - Educator.
This casual position requires availability from 5 December to 30 January with rostered days between Monday and Friday from 7.30am to 5.30pm.
Position Requirements
To be considered for this role you will require the following:
* Certificate III (or higher) in:
* Early Childhood Education and Care; or
* School Based Education Support; or
* Outside School Hours Care;
* Knowledge of the Early Years Framework
* Ability to work within Government Regulations, Quality Assurance Principles in relation to Out of School Hours Care and the Centre's Policies and Procedures
* Working With Children Check
* Ability to Provide Emergency Response in an Education and Care Setting HLTAID012
Conditions
Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government Officers' (WA) Award 2021 and Recreation Centres Enterprise Agreement with a salary Level 3.4 ($45.65 per hour) inclusive of 25% casual loading.
A medical examination and current police clearance will be required prior to appointment, costs to be reimbursed by the Shire.
