04th November, **** Senior Payroll Advisor Location: Kensington, WA Duration: 6-month fixed-term contract Days: Monday – Friday Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm (flexible with start/finish times) Salary: $90,000 + Super per annum Start: Immediate (by Monday, 10 November) We're looking for a capable Senior Payroll Advisor to manage and process payroll across three business entities.
This 6-month contract will suit someone confident in end-to-end payroll operations who can step in and keep things running smoothly from day one.
What you'll be doing: Overseeing and processing end-to-end payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments.
Reviewing and reconciling payroll data, including timesheets, leave, overtime, and deductions.
Maintaining compliance with tax, superannuation, and employment legislation, and preparing related reports and filings.
Supporting and mentoring payroll staff with guidance, training, and quality checks.
Liaising with HR, Finance, and external auditors to resolve discrepancies and support reporting requirements.
What we're looking for: Availability to commence immediately (essential).
Previous experience as a Senior Payroll Advisor (or similar).
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and as part of a team.
Proven end-to-end payroll management experience, ideally across complex or high-volume environments.
Deep knowledge of payroll legislation, awards, taxation, superannuation, leave entitlements, and Fair Work regulations.
Proficiency in payroll systems and software (experience with multiple platforms highly regarded).
Ability to provide a National Police Clearance within 6 months (or willing to obtain).
