Our client, a world-leading provider within the oil & gas sector, is seeking an experienced Workshop / Maintenance Supervisor to join their high-performing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global organisation renowned for innovation, safety, and operational excellence.
The Role
As the Workshop / Maintenance Supervisor, you will take ownership of the day-to-day running of the workshop, overseeing equipment maintenance, repairs, and compliance. You'll be instrumental in ensuring equipment reliability, coordinating workshop activities to meet project delivery schedules, and driving safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise, mentor, and lead workshop teams to deliver safe and efficient operations
* Ensure equipment maintenance and repairs comply with company policies and certification requirements
* Drive programs to improve service quality and equipment reliability
* Monitor and record equipment movements for full compliance
* Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and ensure Stop Work Authority is upheld
* Liaise with operations and engineering teams to support project delivery
* Oversee training, competency, and development plans for direct reports
About You
* Hold a recognised technical qualification
* Minimum 10 years' experience in a relevant technical field
* Strong background in workshop or maintenance supervision within oil & gas (or similar heavy industry)
* Proficiency with SAP systems desirable
* Proven leadership ability with a strong focus on safety, quality, and team development
