Job Description
Client Engagement
: Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Cost Management
: Deliver pre-and post-contract quantity surveying services, including estimates, procurement, contract administration, and final accounts.
Feasibility & Reporting
: Conduct feasibility studies and prepare procurement reports to support strategic decision-making.
Estimating & Planning
: Develop and present detailed cost plans, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals.
Tendering & Documentation
: Manage tender processes from pre-qualification to contract compilation, including analysis and reporting.
Project Oversight
: Lead cost checks, valuations, and monthly reporting across large-scale projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Qualifications
We're looking for a qualified professional with strong infrastructure experience and a proactive approach to client service and business development.
Educational Background
: Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
Industry Experience
: Minimum 5 years in cost management/estimating, ideally within a consultancy and across infrastructure sectors.
Professional Accreditation
: Chartered status with AIQS, RICS, or an equivalent recognised body is preferred.
Business Development
: Ability to identify opportunities and contribute to growth, with support from senior leadership.
