**About the Role**
We are currently seeking to appoint a ICT Customer Support Officer with a large Government agency to provide support, education and guidance in the deployment and maintenance of computer infrastructure and the diagnosis and resolution of technical problems and issues.
This role is for a 4-month contract paying $33.40 - $53.54 p/h + Super located in Newcastle..
**Key accountabilities include**:
- Diagnose and resolve ICT problems using remote-support tools, phone, and on-site assistance.
- Deliver and uphold ICT support services based on the Department's standards, policies, procedures, and agreed service levels.
- Participate in deploying, maintaining, and enhancing the Department's standardised ICT systems.
- Offer operational technical guidance to NSW public schools and departmental offices, following the Department's ICT technologies, policies, and procedures.
- Help enhance ICT services for NSW public schools and Departmental offices by escalating relevant incidents, requests, and issues.
- Advise principals, managers, and others on the Department's standard ICT technologies and service to support their decisions on effective equipment utilisation.
- Maintain accurate records according to Departmental protocols.
**About You**
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Government experience is preferred.
