We are seeking an experienced and passionate Manager, Human Resources to lead the design and delivery of culturally responsive and strategic HR initiatives across our organisation. This role is pivotal in nurturing a strong Indigenous talent pipeline, accelerating speed to competency, and embedding best practice HR approaches that support team wellbeing and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead centralised and culturally safe recruitment and onboarding practices.
Manage and report on a proactive Indigenous talent pipeline.
Develop onboarding programs that improve early engagement and accelerate performance.
Coordinate training and learning systems to build organisational capability.
Support leaders in performance management and coaching processes.
Act as a trusted advisor on people, change, and conflict resolution.
Drive HR compliance, policy development, and workforce planning.
What We're Looking For
Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, or related discipline.
Experience across recruitment, L&D, onboarding, and performance systems.
Knowledge of Aboriginal culture and demonstrated commitment to cultural safety.
Strong understanding of Australian HR legislation and employment instruments.
Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.
Capability to use HR data for workforce planning and continuous improvement.
Desirable:
Experience with digital HR platforms and tools.
Background in trauma-informed or person-centred workplaces.
Leadership development or change management experience.
