**Position Summary**
As a Function & Event Sales Coordinator you are responsible to develop and foster business through pro-active inbound and outbound sales and develop strategic action plans for the venues to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue and hit targets.
You will participate in all sales activities and work in line with the sales and marketing plan for the various market segments in order to exceed venue revenue and targets. We will provide training that will equip you to be a confident Sales Coordinator who stands out in the market by achieving exceptional results. You will report directly to the Sales & Business Development Manager who will provide coaching and support to enable you to achieve what you are driving for.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Event Sales, both internal and external across multiple venues carried out through telephone sales, online enquiries and face-to-face meetings
- Ability to manage your own sales pipeline through our CRM system
- Ability to cross sell between multiple sites to keep business within the group
- Identify new markets and business opportunities to increase sales
- Source, manage and contract sales revenue to hit sales targets
- Able to provide quick and timely responses, immediate communication to the properties, develop professional long term business relationships
- Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times
- Closely following up on all business leads within a 24 hour response time line to clients
- Able to lead and manage a team of venue coordinators
**Prerequisites**
- Proven record in events & sales ideally in multi venue
- Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and organise workflow
- Working cooperatively with the management team
- Outstanding communication skills
- A friendly, energetic personality with an ability to build rapport easily
- Pride and attention to detail
- Proficient in using computers, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Gmail), iVvy preferred but not essential
- Highly organised and strong time management is essential
- Prior experience in social sales, weddings or membership clubs is considered an advantage
- Ability to meet KPIs and targets
**Experience**
- 3 to 4 years' experience in the sales and events or related professional area preferably in hospitality or function sales

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
