Role Overview
We are seeking dedicated and motivated Job Placement Consultants to join our Employment Services team. In this role, you will support job seekers across a range of programs, helping them overcome barriers, build confidence and progress into sustainable employment.
You will work closely with employers, community organisations and internal teams to create meaningful opportunities, while providing tailored, strengths‐based support to each participant. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about empowering people and contributing to positive community outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Participant Support & Case Management
* Provide one‐to‐one support to job seekers to help them achieve identified goals.
* Develop personalised plans, setting both short‐ and long‐term objectives.
* Mentor, motivate and empower participants to build on strengths and work towards employment.
* Coordinate and monitor participation in program activities to ensure progress.
* Prepare reports for leadership and program requirements.
* Complete and maintain all required documentation and funding records.
* Deliver post‐placement support to help participants sustain employment.
Employer & Industry Engagement
* Assess local and regional labour market conditions to identify opportunities.
* Build strong relationships with employers, industry partners and training providers.
* Conduct face‐to‐face employer engagement to create job placements.
* Undertake reverse marketing and sales activities to promote job seekers.
* Support employers and job seekers on‐site or off‐site, resolving issues as needed.
* Identify and initiate Work for the Dole activities, including risk assessments and inductions.
