They are currently searching for an experienced Assistant Accountant / Senior Bookkeeper to join their team in a full-time capacity.
About the opportunityReporting to the Finance Manager and working alongside key departmental team members, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial viability and the strategic journey of the park.
Utilising your excellent attention to detail, you will be responsible for processing high-volume end-to-end payroll, interpreting and applying awards, and auditing payroll data to ensure compliance. You will be responsible for month-end journals, and producing financial and statutory reports.
Additionally, you will be responsible for the following duties:
* End-to-end payroll duties, including statutory requirements
* End-to-end accounts payable
* Month-end journals
* Prepare revenue and financial reports
* Investigate variances
* Bank, credit card, EFTPOS, and balance sheet reconciliations
* Maintain the asset register and auditing of departmental stocktakes
* Ad-hoc duties
About youYou are an accounting professional with payroll and month-end experience. You are comfortable managing deadlines and interpreting industry awards. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy contribute to effective reporting and compliance.
