Accounts Support Analyst
The opportunity
As our Accounts Support Analyst, provide a range of financial administration support including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense management.
The Service Delivery Centre provides an alternative delivery model in a regional location within Australia, decreasing risk to our clients, and increasing efficiency by standardising repeatable processes. Employees within the hub will work with EY project teams across Australia to support large-scale client engagements.
This role is based in Ballarat. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilities
* Reviewing and verifying invoices, purchase orders, and goods received notes for accuracy and discrepancies, while processing payments according to the weekly schedule and logging received payments to appropriate accounts.
* Reconciling accounts using banking reports and accounting software, managing employee expense claims, and ensuring claims comply with company policy by validating receipts and supporting documents.
* Creating and editing vendor accounts with relevant details, and addressing enquiries through Outlook email or Teams hotline, while managing documents in Microsoft, Excel, and SharePoint.
What we look for
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and SharePoint, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a natural aptitude for reviewing large volumes of data with attention to detail.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills, demonstrating reliability and responsiveness with a structured approach to tasks, while maintaining a strong focus on efficiency, productivity, and quality.
* Eager to learn and grow, capable of working autonomously or as part of a team, with a desire to make a meaningful impact and contribute to building a better working world.
Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
* Experience in providing Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable support or other Finance/Data related role is useful but not essential
