Front Office All Rounder
A Front Office All Rounder assists in daily Front Office and Concierge operations and works with customers and guests. **What will I be doing?**
- As a Front Office All Rounder at Hilton Surfers Paradise - no two shifts will be the same as you work to deliver on our Guest Promise to deliver exceptional guest experiences to every guest, every time.
- As a fully flexible member of our Guest Services Team you will work across areas including; Reception, Concierge, Executive Lounge and Night Audit, engaging with our guests throughout their customer journey & meet and anticipate their expectations to ensure a memorable stay for all of our guests.
- You will be responsible to ensure a high level of product knowledge of the hotel and the local area, and know what is happening in the hotel & ensure our customers receive a fast, efficient and friendly check in and check out.
- Respond with urgency to guests' requests and requests for information and assistance throughout the hotel - using your initiative to solve guests problem's take ownership for the guests' journey and surprise and delight our guests.
- Deliver exceptional Service to our Guests - providing hotel and local knowledge, anecdotes, stories, information and creating personal connections with our guests throughout their stay.
- Welcome Guests on arrival and assist them during their stay including assisting guests with their luggage, valet parking and enquiries to ensure a smooth arrival and the same upon departure.
- Show guests to their rooms and explain the amenities of the Hotel, assist with their queries, remember their preferences and taking on board any feedback or information to anticipate their needs.
**What are we looking for?**
To be successful in this role you will also have demonstrate the following:
- A genuine flair for customer service - and ability to create connections with people from all walks of life.
- Previous experience working within hotel, leisure, and/or front office environment is highly regarded - but should you not have this experience be ready to wow us with your customer service skills, personality and organisation skills
- Excellent personal presentation and well-groomed to meet the standards of a luxury hotel.
- Strong communication skills and energetic and enthusiastic and able to learn new skills quickly.
- An eye for detail - you know when something doesn't look or feel right and take ownership to delight our guests.
- Previous experience using a Property Management System will be highly regarded.
- Full Driver's License required as well as a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (QLD)
