Opportunities exist for suitably qualified and experienced Engineers to join the Rex engineering team in full-time capacity, based in Adelaide.
Our Aircraft Maintenance Engineers are responsible for carrying out scheduled andunscheduled maintenance activities on Rex Group's aircraft and aircraftcomponents and ground equipment within a maintenance team to a high standard andtimely manner.
We require all applicants for the position of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) and Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAME) to possess the following:
1. Acceptable Mechanical, Structural, and Avionics certification/qualification/experience
2. A demonstrated ability to perform aircraft and component maintenance,
modification and troubleshooting in accordance with regulatory requirements,
under minimal supervision and to strict deadlines.
3. Proven ability to work in a close knit team environment, however, also has the ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines
4. Understanding and willingness to accept the sometimes harsh work environment of line maintenance
5. Willingness to accept the work environment of aircraft heavy maintenance,
including component repair and refurbishment maintenance.
6. A sound knowledge of aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and
documentation
7. Working knowledge of WH&S procedures
8. SAAB 340 experience highly preferred
9. Experience on transport category and/or turbo-prop aircraft
10. Experience in Airline operations or relevant GA experience
11. A valid driver's license
12. Hold or ability to obtain an airport ASIC security ID and Airside Driver's License
13. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
14. A high level of motivation with a team-focused work ethic
15. Flexibility with working hours, with ability to work a 7-day shift roster, as required
Conditions: Terms and conditions apply as per the Regional Express Aircraft Engineers Agreement, with remuneration depending on shift pattern, licensing, qualifications and experience.
