Overview
Spa Receptionist (Casual) role at JW Marriott.
Location: JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa, 158 Ferny Avenue, Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia.
Responsibilities
- Schedule services for individuals and large groups using spa/salon reservations software system.
- Call guests to confirm scheduled services and answer questions about available services.
- Update the reservations/cancellations list throughout the day; inform providers of last-minute changes and resolve scheduling issues with supervision/management.
- Check in guests for appointments, confirm names, and provide general spa orientation upon arrival.
- Promote and sell spa/salon services.
- Process guest payments for spa/salon services and obtain payment authorization as needed.
Successful Candidates will have
- Excellent personal presentation standards and professional phone etiquette.
- Guest-centric approach, strong teamwork, and a positive attitude.
- Previous experience as a spa receptionist; strong communication skills and a warm personality.
- Good computer skills with Microsoft Word/Excel and Outlook.
- Retail sales skills are an advantage.
- Weekend availability.
