What You\'ll Be Doing

The Ward Clerk/Administrative Officer provides reception and clerical services to Birthing Services.
The Ward Clerk will be based in the Birth Unit but may work in relief capacity in other clinical areas.
This role reports to the Midwifery Unit Manager for Birthing Services.
The position functions as the ward receptionist for all desk inquiries and assists people with their enquiries as appropriate.

Able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a busy fast paced environment
Demonstrated commitment to the provision of high level quality and customer focused services
A commitment to the provision of excellent health care services to women
Experience and adaptability in the use of computer software
Ability to work with and contribute to a multi-disciplinary team
Demonstrate sound problem solving skills
Previous experience in a clerical capacity
