About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available to join our high-performing and well-regarded legal team in a Migration Assistant/General Legal Assistant capacity. Our practice supports a diverse client base and works across a broad range of migration and general legal matters, delivering practical and client-focused solutions.
This role is well suited to a motivated individual who may have limited formal legal experience but demonstrates strong computer literacy and administrative capability. The successful candidate will be comfortable using Microsoft Office, able to learn new systems quickly, and confident in reading, drafting, and reviewing documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. A willingness to learn, strong written communication skills, and the ability to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential. The position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience and capability, with flexibility available for the right candidate.
About You
You will bring:
* A proactive and professional approach, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
* Confidence in engaging directly with clients in a clear, empathetic, and professional manner
* A high level of attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Experience with Microsoft Word and computer literacy skills is required
* While not required, experience using legal practice management software (LawMaster or Migration Manager or similar programs) is welcomed but not essential
