For our offices in Sydney, we are searching for a People Specialist for Australia & New Zealand.

The People Specialist provides full life-cycle human resource and talent development support for the organization, by analyzing, recommending, and implementing people programs, in alignment with Group guidelines and long term strategy, while taking care of day-to-day activities related to people matters. The candidate reports to the Country Manager Australia & New Zealand and functionally to the People Vice President, based in United States.

Key Responsibilities

* Act as a business partner to the local leadership teams in the local units, supporting all People-related areas such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning & development, employee relations, and organizational development.
* Implement and monitor the group People initiatives and policies at local level, ensuring consistency with the global People strategy.
* Provide guidance on labor law and compliance topics in collaboration with external advisors where necessary.
* Conduct recruiting through web channels, to attract and hire best in class candidates for positions across Australia and New Zealand including (but not limited to) sales, finance, marketing, and technology.
* Act as a point of contact for employees and managers on day-to-day People issues, helping to build a positive and engaged workplace culture.
* Maintain strong coordination and knowledge sharing with the wider global People Team to ensure consistency and leverage best practices.
* Monitor and manage monthly labor costs and the payroll process through ADP.
* Under HQ guidance, support the local Compensation & Benefits forecast and budget exercises.

Requirements

* 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources, with a solid track record in both operational HR and business partnering roles.
* University-level degree with record of strong academic performance.
* Experience in a Matrix organization; a prior international exposure will be considered as a plus.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust and influence across diverse stakeholders.
* People-driven attitude and team orientation with ability to nurture team spirit.
* Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives independently.
* Sound understanding of HR processes, labor law fundamentals in Australia and New Zealand.
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Workspace and other business productivity software.
* Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter, SAP and ADP. Any other HRIS and ATS platform is considered a plus.
