The company delivers Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), In-Building Coverage solutions, outdoor network enhancements, and tower builds across complex commercial environments. As the company expands nationally, operational delivery increasingly relies on advanced telecommunications engineering systems managing network performance, RF optimisation, project delivery, operational reporting, and client visibility across multiple sites. Skilled telecommunications engineering capability is critical to maintaining operational efficiency, network reliability, and scalable project delivery across the business. We are seeking a full-time Telecommunications Engineer to design, optimise, test, and support wireless communication systems and telecommunications infrastructure projects across commercial and infrastructure environments. Key Responsibilities: Design and optimise in-building wireless coverage systems including DAS, small cells, and Wi-Fi networks Conduct RF site surveys, path loss calculations, and link budget analyses Perform PIM and swept frequency testing to identify and resolve signal issues Install, configure, and optimise Nextivity Cel-Fi active DAS systems Troubleshoot interference, signal leakage, and handover issues using RF testing tools Prepare engineering documentation, commissioning reports, and as-built drawings Ensure compliance with ACMA regulations, telecommunications standards, and safety requirements Collaborate with project managers, installation teams, and clients to deliver telecommunications projects Research emerging telecommunications technologies and recommend network improvements Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a closely related field Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience as a Telecommunications Engineer or related occupation Strong knowledge of RF systems, DAS, wireless communications infrastructure, and network optimisation principles Experience with RF testing equipment, spectrum analysers, PIM testing, and telecommunications commissioning activities Knowledge of ACMA regulations, telecommunications standards, and wireless communication technologies Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with project managers, operational teams, and clients across multiple project environments From $80,000 to $ 100,000 per annum, plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
