As a dedicated Support Worker, you will form meaningful connections with clients, promoting their independence through personalized support, community engagement, and care.
* Collaborate with the Team Leader in developing and implementing Person-Centred Plans (PCPs), encouraging independent living skills through creative teaching methods.
* Assist clients with daily activities, including medication management, personal hygiene, meal preparation, dressing, and mealtime support, maintaining confidentiality and professional integrity.
* Maintain accurate records related to medical, behavioral, and financial documentation, adhering to guidelines, and ensuring receipt storage when handling client funds.
* Complete administrative tasks such as payroll, compliance reports, and procedural paperwork in a timely and accurate manner, following established policies and standards.
Essential Qualifications
* Certificate III or IV in Disability
* Current Victorian Drivers License
* Completed First Aid and CPR Certificate
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
* NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate - "Quality, Safety & You"
* Current Working with Children Check Victoria for paid employment
