The Role
By joining us as a Fire Technician you will be required to work Monday to Friday although the opportunity for some weekend and after-hours work may be available on an Ad-Hoc basis.
Responsibilities include:
* Ability to communicate with other trades and head contractor with site planning/issues.
* Handling basic service, repairs and maintenance
* Working in a Trade / Construction setting and following Industry benchmark WHS requirements.
* Supervision of apprentices
* Fault diagnostic, Installation Testing and Commissioning.
* Reporting of work carried out in our digital Job management system
The successful applicant will have the following attributes:
* Good time management skills, and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
* Competent person with excellent people skills and a clean and tidy presentation
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
* Attention to detail, problem solving and sound judgment
* Self-motivated and organised
* Ability to use app-based programs
Minimum requirements:
* A current car driver's license
* White card
* Willing to have a police check
* Willing to obtain a working with Vulnerable people card
Desirable:
* Electrical Practitioners Licences
* Communication Cabling Licence
* Broad sector experience including Fire Standards knowledge and Product knowledge advantageous
* Experience in Commercial Installations would be an advantage.
