Graduate Enrolled Nurse Program 2026 at Kyabram District Health Service offers part-time fixed-term roles in a supportive aged care clinical environment.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
* Participating in the Enrolled Nurse Graduate Program within Clinical Services - Aged Care at Kyabram District Health Service.
* Consolidating nursing knowledge and skills obtained in the Diploma of Nursing qualification.
* Completing a 12-month contract in residential aged care, with the potential to apply for ongoing employment within a preferred department, pending vacancy.
* Engaging in a structured 3-day orientation, 8 study days throughout the year, and ongoing support from the education team.
* Working collaboratively with the Education team, clinical support nurses, nurse unit managers, and interprofessional colleagues.
* Utilizing evidence-based knowledge to achieve quality patient outcomes.
* Developing confidence, skills, decision-making, and critical thinking abilities.
* Working independently and as a team member.
* Providing care in accordance with KDHS policies and procedures.
About You
What you'll need:
* Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Administration of Medication Scope of four & five routes for Acute, Aged Care, District Nursing Service or all five for Perioperative
* Current clinical experience in an acute setting
* Basic knowledge of patient management and information systems
* Commitment to ongoing professional development
* Highly developed interpersonal skills and commitment to team objectives
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Competent computer skills and knowledge of patient management and information technology systems
