Then this is your opportunity to make history!If you are able to identify operational waste and inefficiencies, use metrics to drive operational improvement and quickly implement learning, then please apply for this position.Key job responsibilities• Drive cost saving projects from start to finish.• Develop metrics and set up tools to measure operational performance of sort centers/ Last mile as part of the business growth.• Review and analyze customer defect data and develop corresponding action plans to reduce/improve.• Develop and execute action plans that increase quality and service.• Use lean techniques to root cause process deviations and develop countermeasures for these deviations.• Work closely with stakeholders to secure resources for projects and provide support for other initiatives as needed.• Travel to sort center/ last mile sites to develop, evaluate and ensure compliance of improvement initiatives.• Document, standardization, quality and productivity enhancements.• Support with key data, parity requirements into annual planning cyclesBASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degreeExcel advanced level and SQL coding.3+ years of continuous improvement.3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experienceExpertise in Lean Management, Six Sigma and other OE toolsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of program or project management experienceData analysis skills and familiarity with supporting tools e.g. Asana.Data visualisation tools (powerBI, quicksight or equivalent).Acknowledgement of country:In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
