During a period of organisational transition and permanent recruitment, they are seeking an experienced Risk and Compliance Analyst to provide short‑term, specialist support. This role sits at the centre of risk, compliance, and resilience activity, supporting priority initiatives and strengthening governance frameworks across the organisation. About the Role: This contract role will focus on progressing key risk, compliance, audit, and resilience initiatives within a defined timeframe. You will partner closely with business areas to uplift risk maturity, support governance processes, and deliver practical outcomes aligned to NSW Government requirements. Supporting delivery of priority risk and compliance initiatives aligned with departmental and NSW Government frameworks Providing practical risk and compliance advice to identify, assess, and manage key organisational risks Coordinating risk and compliance projects, including planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting Supporting business units to uplift risk and compliance maturity and embed consistent frameworks and controls Contributing to organisational resilience activities, including business continuity, incident management, and crisis preparedness Supporting updates to resilience and incident management plans, including coordination of testing activities Assisting with fraud and corruption prevention controls and monitoring mitigation actions Supporting internal audit delivery, including tracking and reporting audit actions Updated and improved risk register documentation and controls Tracking and reporting of internal audit actions and compliance obligations High‑quality governance papers, briefings, and risk reports Practical recommendations to strengthen risk maturity, compliance processes, and assurance activity About You: You will thrive in this role if you are outcomes‑focused, confident navigating complex stakeholder environments, and experienced delivering risk and compliance work under tight timeframes.
