**Job Description**:
We are looking for a passionate and personable HSE Advisor to support our Toll People labour hire operation in Sydney Olympic Park, NSW. This onsite permanent role can be Full or Part Time and as an employer who invests in their people, we provide you with a structured learning and development framework and a broader Health, Safety and Environment team to aid your continual growth.
This role will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day compliance requirements of all HSE matters related to our Toll People operations, including the supporting, coaching and advising Team Leads, Account Managers and Recruitment Consultants in key risk activities in a labour hire environment. You will ensure the full and effective implementation of processes within the business to maintain compliance, building effective relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders.
**Responsibilities **include**:
- Mentor, coach and support the Toll People operations teams in key risk management activities such as customer workplace risk assessments (WRA) and compliance with customer risk management activities.
- Review the quality of information submitted by the sites into TRAC, including safety conversations, hazard identifications, corrective actions, incidents and investigations and person hours.
- Chair the monthly HSE meeting to drive safety outcomes and be a part of the Toll People Operational meetings.
- Drive compliance around incident and investigation processes, analyzing incidents for trends, ensuring preventative action is implemented and overseeing the quality of data entered into the TRAC.
- Conduct risk assessments onsite with Account managers, offer guidance and support throughout the process.
- Deliver Health and Safety function programs and any objectives rolled out from our Group HSE team.
**Qualifications**:
- Cert IV or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and / or other relevant discipline
**Knowledge/Experience**
- 1 - 3 years practical experience in a HSE role with a focus on transport, logistics, or labour hire activities.
- An understanding of business, issues and restraints faced by line managers in implementing HSE processes and programs.
- Experience in relationship management of both internal clients and external stakeholders.
**Technical**
- Sound knowledge of HSE legislation.
- Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility legislation.
- Experience in conducting incident investigations.
- Strong influencing and management skills
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Sound time management skills
- Competent computing skills, advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
