Better Health Network (BHN) is looking for a passionate and experienced Oral Health Therapist to join our dedicated dental team in Parkdale. In this community-focused role, you'll deliver high-quality oral healthcare across both clinic and outreach settings – including the Smile Squad Program, bringing vital dental services to local schools.
This is your chance to work in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment where your clinical expertise and commitment to public health will make a real difference.
What You'll Do
* Deliver safe, effective oral healthcare across all age groups
* Provide education, preventative treatment, and emergency care
* Support outreach work including Smile Squad school visits
* Collaborate with clinicians and mentor less experienced staff
* Maintain high standards of infection control and clinical records
* Participate in continuous professional development and quality improvement
What You'll Bring
* Bachelor of Oral Health + AHPRA registration
* Victorian Radiation Licence + CPR competency
* Strong clinical skills across all areas of scope
* Experience in public dental services (4+ years preferred)
* Confidence working with diverse communities and complex needs
* Full driver's licence and willingness to travel for outreach
Bonus if you have
* Extended Adult Scope of Practice
* Experience with Titanium CMS
* Membership with ADOHTA
