**About the role**

Are you a highly motivated and dynamic individual looking to join a company as a Retail Area Manager? As a Retail Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and profitability of 5 retail stores within a designated area. Your role will involve implementing strategic plans, managing store teams, and driving sales and customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**

Team Management: Recruit, train, and performance manage staff, providing coaching and guidance to ensure high performance, excellent customer service, and a positive work environment.

Store Operations: Ensure efficient and effective operations of multiple retail stores within the designated area, including visual merchandising, inventory management, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Sales and Profitability: Drive sales and profitability targets by analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and implementing strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs. Monitor and control expenses to achieve financial objectives.

Customer Satisfaction: Foster a customer-centric culture by ensuring exceptional customer service standards are maintained across all stores. Resolve escalated customer issues and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of store teams, ensuring consistent execution of company policies and procedures. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to support professional growth.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards, employment laws, and company policies. Implement loss prevention measures and maintain accurate records.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, merchandising, and operations, to align strategies and achieve business objectives. Participate in company meetings, sharing insights and contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and sales analysis.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving sales and achieving targets.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing retail environment.
- Proficient in using retail management systems, point-of-sale (POS) software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
