Function Overview
We are seeking an experiencedHead of Sales and Distributionto lead our distribution development, investor relations, and fundraising efforts. This role is crucial in building strong partnerships with financial advisers, brokers, and institutional investors while driving capital-raising initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Distribution Development & Management
* Develop and manage relationships with distribution partners, including financial advisers, brokers, and institutional investors.
* Execute the distribution strategy to optimise revenue performance and enhance investor engagement.
Community Engagement & Fundraising
* Lead capital-raising initiatives with a focus on wholesale and institutional investors.
* Conduct roadshows, presentations, and events to communicate fund performance and engage potential investors.
* Foster community engagement through outreach and collaboration to support fundraising goals.
Investor Relations
* Maintain strong relationships with distribution partners and investors, delivering regular fund performance updates and insights.
* Utilize strong communication and presentation skills to build trust and enhance investor engagement.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
* Track and monitor distribution channels, revenue performance, and capital-raising efforts.
* Optimise investor engagement strategies through data analysis and performance insights.
Property Market Analysis
* Provide in-depth analysis of residential real estate market dynamics, trends, and opportunities.
* Deliver insights and recommendations on investment strategies related to residential property.
Regulatory Knowledge & Compliance
* Maintain a comprehensive understanding of ASIC regulations, Australian property fund structures, and Shariah compliance requirements.
* Ensure all distribution and investment activities adhere to both regulatory and Shariah-compliant guidelines.
Team Leadership & Business Development
* Manage and develop the business development team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on growth and strategic initiatives.
* Mentor team members nationally, aligning efforts with the organization’s distribution and fundraising goals.
Qualifications:
* Education:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional designation (CFA, CAIA) is highly desirable.
* Experience:Minimum of 5 years in property fund management, with a focus on residential real estate and capital raising.
* Expertise:In-depth knowledge of the residential property market, investment products, and Shariah-compliant investment principles, with experience managing distribution channels and investor relations.
* Skills:Excellent communication and presentation abilities; skilled in building and maintaining relationships with distribution partners and investors.
* Network:Established connections within the Australian property investment community.
* Regulatory Knowledge:Solid understanding of ASIC regulations, Australian property fund structures, and Shariah compliance standards.
