Finance Officer – 6-Month Contract – Supporting a collaborative team

We’re seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join a values-led not-for-profit committed to delivering impact. This role is a 6‑month contract, you will support day‑to‑day finance operations and contribute to accurate monthly reporting.
Your new role
In this role, you will find yourself carrying out duties including but not limited to:
* Processing daily bank, cash and credit card transactions
* Completing monthly bank, petty cash and foreign currency reconciliations
* Managing employee expense and mileage claims
* Issuing customer invoices and following up on outstanding payments
* Processing supplier bills, preparing payment runs and reconciling statements
* Assisting colleagues with finance queries and providing cover during absences
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will require the following:
* Background in AP/AR, reconciliations and transactional finance
* Strong accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to meet deadlines and work to a finance timetable
* Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
* A proactive approach and willingness to support team needs
* Alignment with the organisation’s values and purpose-driven culture
