Job Description
As part of our industry‑leading Dams team, you’ll contribute to feasibility studies, design, construction, and asset management, collaborating with specialists nationally and internationally to develop sustainable water solutions and mentor the next generation of engineers.
With AECOM’s flexibility, base yourself in either Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle, Sydney, Perth or Melbourne offices.
How You’ll Make a Difference
* Mechanical engineering design for dam operations and equipment integration.
* Inspection, investigation and condition assessment of existing dams.
* Construction support services including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data and construction reporting.
* Preparation of tenders and proposals & providing mentoring.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated capability in mechanical design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings and specifications, ideally within the dam industry.
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (essential).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Positive attitude and ability to see challenges as opportunities to innovate, collaborate and grow.
* Ability to develop and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and the local industry.
