About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to join the positive, supportive and close-knit team at District 15 in Ballarat. This fixed-term role offers full-time hours and a great opportunity for growth and development. Key responsibilities of this varied role will involve:
o Customer service both internally and externally.
o Data entry, database and systems coordination.
o Records administration.
o Provision of general administrative and office support.
o Stores duties inclusive of stock management, lifting >15kg, receipting incoming goods, picking and packing outgoing items, labelling & tracking.
o Inputting and coordinating stores data using relevant CFA systems (SAP, RMS etc) and providing information from these where requested.
o Liaison with external suppliers to generate quotes etc.
o Accounts payable administration.
o Preparation of documents that may include letters, memos, presentations, reports, minutes and briefing notes.
o Minute taking, diary management and meeting coordination.
o Providing support at meetings including, organising and scheduling, agenda preparation, venue and catering requirements.
o Liaison and communication with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders to ensure an effective service delivery.
o Be prepared to participate in Incident Management support roles appropriate to experience and qualifications.
This fantastic role that would suit an all-rounder who enjoys a variety of duties whilst providing exceptional customer service to the community. Attention to detail and a can-do attitude are important as are teamwork and commitment. Please note there are requirements on occasion for afterhours work and travel (vehicle provided). About You You will be motivated and enthusiastic with demonstrated administration experience, excellent attention to detail andprior experience with stores duties would be an advantage. You will have experience interacting with people at all levels and be able to work with minimal supervision in a proactive manner. Important to this role will be your computer skills and your written and verbal communications skills. Experience working in the public sector and using SAP finance systems is advantageous.
