Due to upskilling our previous operator, we have a vacancy for a HR driver to join our business in Devonport, Tasmania. Competitive wages and a variety of work is on offer.
This is a pathway position designed to upskill a HR driver into a HC then ultimately MC role.
About the role
Driving HR vehicles.
Loading and unloading trucks.
Transporting freight locally/ between Tasmania sites.
Performing correct safety procedures at all times.
Day and Afternoon shift.
Skills and Experience
Valid HR or MR driver's license with minimum of 2 years experience.
Must complete a pre-employment medical.
Provide a safe driving history record.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Have knowledge of Safe work practices, be compliant with WorkSafe, Fatigue Management, Chain of Responsibility and Company Policies.
Keep accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
Additional Criteria
Driver able to demonstrate strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Ability to operate in a skilled and safe manner, ensure timely deliveries.
Must follow company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes.
Professional presentation and meticulous about fleet presentation.
Provide excellent customer service at all times.
Good work ethic.
Reliable and versatile.
Right to work in Australia.
DG Licence an advantage.
