Ready to get stuck into your trade and build real on‐the‐job experience? We're looking for a motivated Fitter & Turner Apprentice to join our manufacturing team in Carole Park. This full‐time role from 7 am to 3 pm is suited to someone looking to commence an apprenticeship, who is willing to undertake TAFE training as part of a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade, while gaining hands‐on experience in a practical workshop environment. What You'll Do
* Assist with maintenance, servicing and repair of industrial machinery, including hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical equipment
* Support mechanical fitting and assembly of components such as motors, pumps and gearboxes
* Operate workshop machinery and hand tools including lathes, drilling machines, grinders and welding equipment
* Read and work from engineering drawings, blueprints and maintenance instructions
* Follow workplace health and safety procedures, use PPE and complete basic maintenance documentation
What You'll Bring
* Physical capability to work in a high‐demand manufacturing environment including standing for long periods and working in warm, noisy or confined spaces
* Willingness and ability to undertake TAFE training as part of your apprenticeship
* Commitment to full‐time work, including potential on‐site or shift work requirements
