About the role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic F&B Restaurant Manager or Supervisor with a hands on approach to join our team at FOX & HOUNDS' in Wongawallan, Queensland. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the efficient operation of our hospitality business, training and development of staff with an active role in promoting the business. if your thinking of running your own restaurant at some stage this is the launch pad to learn everything there is to know about being and running a successful business
What you'll be doing
* Supervising/ Managing of service and staff
* efficient delivery of food and beverages
* cost controls
* quality control of food and beverage
* staff training and development
* social media involvement
* Providing friendly and attentive table service to our customers
* serving a range of food
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
* Assisting with stock control and inventory management
* Contributing to a positive team dynamic and a great guest experience
* Adhering to all relevant health, safety and licensing regulations
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
* Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for providing exceptional experiences
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
* A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work well under pressure
* Current Food Handling certifications (or willingness to obtain)
