Lead Archivist Position Overview
This role involves managing and maintaining strategic working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will work closely with the Privacy Reinforcement Project team and other business units to ensure seamless archiving activities and address any information management related issues.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and sustain strategic working relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders, government.
* Work closely with the Privacy Reinforcement Project team and other business units as required to ensure seamless archiving activities and address any information management related issues.
* Provide weekly reports to the Project Manager Privacy Reinforcement Project on progress to date.
* Monitor and report on the performance of archiving activities, making adjustments as required.
* Manage Record Archival team.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Information Management Diploma or equivalent (desirable).
* Demonstrated experience applying the Principles & Standards of the State Records Act (WA) 2000.
* At least 3 years archival experience and applying retention and disposal schedules.
* Demonstrated experience leading a team.
