About the role
We are seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our team at Coffs ENT Centre in Coffs Harbour, NSW. As our Receptionist, you will be the friendly face of our practice, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients and staff. This is a full-time role based at our Coffs Harbour Jetty location.
What you'll be doing
* Greet and welcome patients to the practice, ensuring a positive first impression
* Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
* Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently
* Maintain accurate patient records and medical files
* Assist with general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
* Provide support to the clinical team as required
* Ensure the reception area is well-organised and presentable at all times
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a Receptionist, preferably in a healthcare or medical environment
* Candidates of any experience level are welcome to apply for this receptionist position
* Healthcare or medical reception experience is preferred but not essential
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of patients and stakeholders
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail
* Proficient or willing to learn computerised patient management systems and Microsoft Office suite
* A friendly, patient, and customer-focused approach
* A team player who can work collaboratively with the wider practice team
