Accounting Assistant Role
The Finance Department is responsible for assisting with all accounting functions within the firm. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to join our team.
* Management of trust accounts and controlled monies, including assistance with annual audits.
* Coordination of outsourced payroll, management of payroll queries, and reconciliation of monthly payroll.
* Processing of office and trust receipts.
* Processing office and trust payments.
* Entering disbursements and creditor invoices.
* Monthly billing.
* Bank and general ledger reconciliations.
* Month-end and annual reporting.
* Maintenance of fixed asset register.
* Management reporting.
* Ad hoc finance projects.
Applicants will have been exposed to a wide range of accounting functions and will have demonstrated experience in trust accounting.
We require applicants to have 5+ years of accounting experience, completed or working toward a formal qualification in Accounting, and expertise in a range of software packages including Excel at an intermediate to advanced level. A strong team player is essential.
