Job Description:
The position involves delivering advanced mental health nursing care to mothers experiencing significant perinatal mental illness. Key responsibilities include supporting consumers in developing parenting skills and enhancing early attachment with their baby, contributing to a positive team culture by providing leadership and mentoring less experienced clinicians, and participating in clinical program evaluation and service improvement activities.
Working within our inpatient unit, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality mental health care. You will also have the ability to liaise effectively with consumers, families, health professionals, students and researchers to support high-quality service delivery.
