Northern and Yorke Landscape Board – Aboriginal Engagement Officer
Location: Port Lincoln or Whyalla (location negotiable). Job status: Long Term Contract. Eligibility: Open to Everyone. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, monitor, and report on an Aboriginal engagement and participation plan for the Board.
Work closely with local Aboriginal organisations to set transparent targets and methods for engaging in collaborative activities and initiatives.
Ensure projects and initiatives of the Board and partner organisations include Aboriginal engagement and participation.
Qualifications and requirements
Experience in engaging with Aboriginal communities and organisations (as applicable to the role).
Current driver’s licence is required.
Police clearance is required if selected for the role.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.
