About the Role
We are currently seeking Crane Operators and Riggers with relevant experience and industry exposure for a variety of upcoming new projects throughout WA. The positions are offered as casual however the roster is flexible, offering a variety of 2:1 and 8:6 - flying in and out from Perth or driving in and out from Kalgoorlie/Geraldton.
Duties
* Ensure achievement of maintenance goals to maximize plant and equipment availability;
* Set up and adjust metalworking machines and equipment and operate machines to produce parts or tools;
* Mark the shape and dimensions of a part to be machined by studying blueprints and using measuring instruments;
* Assemble and fit machined parts using drill holes and tap threads, if necessary, for bolting parts together;
* Manufacture, repair and fault-find hydraulic and pneumatic equipment;
* Operate powered machines that may be manually or computer controlled;
* Erect machinery and equipment on site as required; and inspect machinery regularly and make any adjustments or repairs as required.
Skills and experience:
Essential Criteria (what's required):
* High Risk Work License - CO ticket preferred
* High Risk Work License - RA & RI tickets preferred
* Valid WA Driver's License - HR/HR-B preferred
* Construction (White) Card
* Minimum 3 years' experience
* Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
* Ability to work well in a team in remote areas
* Strong commitment towards safety and quality
* Motivated and hardworking with a professional attitude
* Company and customer focused based
* Either has or be prepared to obtain a current Working at Heights ticket (issued within 2 years)
* Either has or be prepared to obtain a current Confined Space ticket (issued within 2 years)
* Forklift and EWP are desirable however not essential
* Ability to pass a medical and D&A screen
