Overview
Mental Health Trainer (RN or Counsellor)
at Healthcare Australia (HCA). This role involves training and upskilling healthcare professionals in the Diploma of Mental Health or Certificate IV in Mental Health using blended online learning; the first cohort commences in 12 weeks. This is a casual, part time teaching/training contract.
Responsibilities
Applying a variety of teaching methods (including workplace mentoring, where appropriate)
Preparing and maintaining teaching and learning resources
Marking assessments and providing feedback to students (within required timeframes and using an LMS)
Participating in Validation and/or Moderation Sessions
Identifying and reporting student learning difficulties
Supporting students with additional learning needs
Assisting with the review of teaching programs
Assessment responsibilities
include practical observation and marking of theoretical tests, among other duties.
Role details
This is a casual role, approx. 10-15 hours per week.

Mental Health RN or Counsellor
with post-graduate qualifications in mental health, you are passionate about adult learning and developing future talent in healthcare. You will need to have completed a
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
.
