We're seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Oncology Pharmacist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist clinical pharmacy services to patients receiving treatment at our medical oncology centres.
Key Responsibilities:
* Dispensing medication, including chemotherapy to patients
* Conducting clinical review of treatment orders in MOSAIQ
* Approving chemotherapy orders for preparation or supply
* Releasing aseptically prepared products
* Inventory management and processing pharmacy invoices
* Providing medication counselling and participating in pre-admission clinics
* Being an active member in a multidisciplinary team
* Undertaking and contributing to governance activities through medication safety and Quality Use of Medicines
Requirements:
* General unrestricted pharmacy registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Commitment to patient-focussed pharmacy practice
* Minimum of three years of clinical pharmacy experience, preferably in an oncology/haematology setting
* Excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills
* Ability to co-ordinate clinical pharmacy services
* Ability to interact effectively with people from diverse cultures
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility to work across all sites in the greater Sydney area
