Workforce Extensions Geelong is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable/Credit Officer for a temporary assignment based in Geelong. This is a casual contract role commencing:
Monday 2 April 2026 to Friday 29 May
This position will suit an experienced accounts professional with strong credit control and reconciliation skills who is available for the full contract period.
The Role
Working onsite in Geelong (8:30am - 4:00pm, some flexibility available), your responsibilities will include:
* Generating invoices for stock and non-stock items
* Opening new trading accounts, including reference checking and PPSR registrations
* Performing account reconciliations
* Maintaining accurate accounts receivable records
* Banking and allocation of funds received
* Investigating and resolving account queries and irregularities
* Managing credit limits and customers on hold
* Proactively following up outstanding payments via phone and email
* Processing stock returns and credit notes
* Providing copy invoices and documentation as requested
* Assisting with general financial management tasks as required
About You
To be considered, you will demonstrate:
* Previous experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Credit Control
* Experience managing collections and customer accounts
* Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
* Understanding of trading terms and customer rebate agreements
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting systems
* Clear and professional communication skills
* Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
