Overview
Meeka Metals is seeking a motivated and reliable Site Services Hand / Bus Driver to join our team at the Murchison Gold Project, 50kms north of Meekatharra.
The project is a combined open pit and underground gold mining operation with an initial 10-year mine life.
This is a diverse and hands-on role combining personnel transport, village support, and general maintenance support within a remote mining village environment.
This role will be offered on an 8:6 roster in a fulltime permanent position.
Responsibilities
* Operate site buses (53–57 seat capacity), minibuses and light vehicles to transport personnel safely to and from designated locations.
* Conduct pre-start inspections and maintain transport vehicles in a clean and serviceable condition.
* Perform maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting, carpentry, plumbing assistance, and general upkeep.
* Assist with village infrastructure setup, relocation, and improvements as required.
* Monitor and report maintenance issues, hazards, and equipment defects promptly.
* Assist with dewatering works, pipework installations, monitoring and maintenance of pumps.
* Support other site services activities when required including deliveries, manual handling, and logistics assistance.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and ensure safe storage practices.
Qualifications
* Current and valid Western Australian Driver's License (MR License or higher – HR preferred).
* PTD Authorisation or willingness to obtain (at your own cost).
* Demonstrated competency driving buses with passenger capacity between 53–57 seats.
* Trade Qualification - plumber or carpenter (desirable).
* National Police Clearance.

You will be accommodated in a well-appointed mine village with a fully equipped gym, recreation room, WIFI with streaming capacity and full Telstra coverage. Catering is provided by the Company's own catering and facilities management team with a budget that supports a wide variety of high-quality food options from our own Chefs.
