Role Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Rock Tools Technician to join their team in Mount Isa. The role will begin on a Monday‐to‐Friday schedule and transition to a 7‐days‐on, 7‐days‐off roster.
Key Responsibilities
* Remove all worn and damaged rock tools from the drill sites.
* Safely transport drilling consumables such as drill bits and drill steels to various drill rigs underground.
* Ensure smooth and efficient rock drilling operations, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
Qualifications
* Residing in Mount Isa, QLD.
* Mechanical Driver's Licence – essential for transporting materials.
* Medical Clearance – ability to pass a full functional medical assessment.
* Background Check – Hays police check required.
* Previous labouring experience – essential.
