Anglicare Southern Queensland are currently seeking to hire a permanent Cyber Risk Analyst to join our ICT team based in our corporate head office in Fortitude Valley.
This role is a blend of strategic and hands-on execution, requiring a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, practical cyber security technologies, including cyber education, policy creation, maintenance and implementation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our Digital practices, process and technology align with industry best practice and standards actively contributing to the enhancement of our security posture. You will work closely with ICT leadership and operational teams to advise on best practice security technologies and steer the investment in security related technologies and processes.
What you will be doing day to day:
* Development, implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive security compliance program that aligns with regulatory requirements and industry best practice.
* Lead and participate in planning and execution of internal and external cyber related audits.
* Design and deliver a comprehensive cyber reporting suite against security compliance risks and regulatory changes.
* Develop and lead the creation, implementation and maintenance of cyber security related processes, procedures and policies.
* Collaborate with digital engineering teams to implement and maintain best practice security controls and technologies.
* Grow and maintain cyber security related training programs to educate staff on related compliance, policies and procedures.
* Manage vendor & partner cyber security assessments.
* Participate in incident response efforts, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
* Document incident handling processes and maintain incident response documentation.
* Collaboration with the Enterprise Risk Office to develop and execute a risk assessment plan to identify potential vulnerabilities and coordinate implementation of management or mitigation strategies.
* Develop reports for senior leadership teams outlining current cyber security maturity, opportunities and risks.
* Develop and lead mock cyber incident response exercises, documenting and reporting outcomes.
What our team are seeking:
* Tertiary qualification in technology / cyber security related field or equivalent experience.
* Experience in a similar role (across the spectrum of activities/functions) with commensurate skills.
* Demonstrated experience of enhancing operational cyber security service delivery models/frameworks.
* Demonstrated operating knowledge of NIST, ASD and APP including Privacy Act(s).
* Successful candidates will also need to provide a current and satisfactory National Police Check during onboarding.
