The Product Manager Mortgages - Change provides support across the product lifecycle as well as manage change initiatives for the Mortgage business. The role holder is responsible for assisting the Senior Manager - Change and Support and Head of Secured Lending, in the management and implementation of change initiatives in support of the Secured Lending growth targets. This role works closely with Business Partners both internal (such as Legal, Compliance, Distribution and Operations) and external vendors, Business Subject Matter Experts and Business/Data Analysts across the end to end mortgage journey, in the definition, testing, training, implementation, and support of change objectives.
**Responsibilities**:
- Be accountable for the successful delivery of change initiatives
- Collaborate with contractors and external vendors in order to deliver change
- Prepare Change Requests with relevant stakeholders
- Support implementation of changes
- Communicate issues/changes to process
- Coordinate with business analysts to understand user requirements
- Provide appropriate data and reporting to support projects, and post implementation reporting for lessons learned and benefit realisation.
Requirements
**Requirements**:
- Will require a solid understanding of the mortgage process end-to-end from both a proprietary and broker perspective.
- Experience with ApplyOnline and DocuPrep is highly advantageous.
- Will have solid experience across a broad range of roles supporting mortgage customers and therefore hold a strong voice of the customer.
- Mortgage sales experience advantageous.
- Solid experience in the use of Excel and PowerPoint as part of management reporting
- A thorough understanding of a multi-channel business model is essential. Good Understanding of Retail banking and other banking channels.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, communications, analytical, interpersonal, motivational, negotiation, project management, sales and team-building skills.
