Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to our residents. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for delivering person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide care provision in accordance with resident individualised assessed care needs
* Ensure resident care is within accordance to resident individualised care plan or as directed by RN and/or Care Manager
* Reports all incidents in a timely manner to Registered Nurse or Care Manager
* Complete all activities relating to Residents Care documentation Plans
* Timely notification of changes in resident care to RN in charge and/or Care Manager
You will work closely with our registered nurses and care managers to deliver comprehensive care that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Certificate III or Certificate IV in Aged Care
* Minimum of 12 months experience as an AIN within residential aged care desirable
* Flexibility and reliability with a strong commitment to work
* Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and all levels of staff
* Strong passion for working with the elderly
* Current COVID & Annual Flu Vaccination (Mandatory)
