Overview
We have a new opportunity for an experienced workers' compensation Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join our rapidly growing Insurance practice, based in our Darwin office. The Insurance WA team is a defendant insurance legal team, working across Statutory Insurance matters, including workers' compensation, recoveries and compulsory third-party matters. Our Insurance WA team has approximately 90 people located across Darwin, Perth and Adelaide. This is a fantastic hands-on role, with significant learning, development and progression opportunities, and the opportunity to work closely with interesting clients and alongside highly regarded partners and lawyers.
About You
* at least 5 years of post-admission experience within Workers' Compensation;
* ideally you will have experience on the defendant side, however we will also consider candidates with a plaintiff background who are keen to move into a defendant practice;
* a genuine interest in contributing to the growth and success of our insurance practice in Darwin;
* clear, concise legal writing skills; and
* strong attention to detail.
