We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to join our team in Penrith, New South Wales. This part-time contract role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. As a key member of our travel and tourism industry, you will contribute significantly to guest satisfaction and the reputation of our establishment. Responsibilities: Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required. Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly. Assist with laundry duties as needed. Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored safely. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly manner. Qualifications: No formal education required; however, a secondary school certificate is preferred. Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is an advantage but not essential. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and a friendly disposition. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy items as needed.
