About the Role Join our team as a consultant paediatrician on a 0.3EFT (10.5h per week) commencing from July 2026 in an ongoing role to work at Monash Children’s Hospital and other sites based primarily at Clayton, with some responsibilities at satellite sites.
This role is guided by the Medical Lead for MC@H and the broader MC@H team. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide safe and effective patient‑centred care, liaise between MC@H staff, emergency department and admitting units, supervise MC@H registrars, provide oversight of HITH patient care and other duties as directed by the MC@H Medical Lead.

About You
Appropriate clinical knowledge and skills in general paediatrics and neonatal care.
Relevant clinical experience in HITH duties and multidisciplinary team work.
Experience in HITH desirable but not essential.
Self‑motivated, proactive, collaborative, flexible, an excellent communicator and team player.
Mandatory Requirements
Medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent) recognised for registration by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
Fellow of RACP; subspecialty in general paediatrics and neonates or extensive experience in these areas.
Completion or commitment to complete necessary supervisor training to meet RACP requirements.
Australian motor‑vehicle driver licence.
Current AHPRA registration.
Existing or ability to obtain a Medicare Provider number for Monash Health.
